On July 30, 2025, Anthropic declared the formal debut of its Claude AI chatbot on X (previously Twitter), a strategic extension of the AI model’s social media presence for improved community involvement. Concurrently, the business introduced new tools for its mobile app that let users create and send calendar invites, emails, and chats straight from the Claude app.

The new @claudeai account allows the AI model to communicate directly with developers, companies, and AI enthusiasts, according to a post by Anthropic on the platform. Claude’s launch places him next to other AI models that are currently available on X, such as Grok and Perplexity, which are developed by Elon Musk.

Growing The Footprint Of Social Media

Anthropic’s most recent attempt to increase Claude’s accessibility and community involvement is the X launch. Reports from the blockchain business indicate that social media presence will boost brand awareness and encourage industry cooperation. The action was taken because, according to a 2024 Gartner analysis, AI-powered social interaction solutions are expected to bring in over $50 billion by 2027.

In a competitive environment where AI models are increasingly being used as public-facing entities rather than merely backend technologies, Claude’s presence on X enables real-time interactions and AI-driven insights. Response times of less than two seconds are made possible by the platform integration, which makes use of Anthropic’s cutting-edge transformer design, which was revised in 2024.

Improvements In Mobile Productivity

Anthropic said that the Claude mobile app now allows users to write and send calendar invites, emails, and messages straight from their mobile devices, coinciding with the launch of X. Email services like Gmail and Outlook, as well as messaging apps like iMessage and SMS, are integrated with the new feature.

The mobile enhancements put Claude in a competitive position to take on well-known competitors in the personal AI assistant industry, such as Microsoft’s Copilot and Apple’s Siri. Productivity studies indicate that for mobile users who previously used numerous apps for communication, the integration might cut task-switching time by as much as 30%.

According to Gartner, industry researchers predict that 70% of knowledge workers would use AI assistants on a daily basis by 2026. Grand View Research estimates that the market for mobile AI productivity solutions would expand at a compound annual growth rate of 38.2% between 2023 and 2030.

These changes occur as Anthropic sets itself up for a larger market share; estimates indicate that by 2027, the company may account for 15% of the market for mobile AI assistants.
